At Erin Leigh Studios, our kids art programs invite young artists to explore, experiment, and express themselves through thoughtful, process-based artmaking. Each program is designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of creativity — all in a supportive, inspiring studio environment.
WHAT MAKES OUR CLASSES DIFFERENT
ART CLASSES THAT GO BEYOND THE PROJECT
Our kids art programs focus on creative thinking, artistic exploration, and personal expression — not copying a single finished image.
Students are encouraged to:

Each class balances skill-building and freedom, allowing kids to grow artistically while having fun.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
HOW OUR PROGRAMS ARE STRUCTURED
- Programs typically run in 6-week sessions
- Classes meet once per week
- Each session explores a specific artistic theme
- All materials are provided
- Suitable for a range of skill levels
Themes rotate throughout the year, allowing returning students to continue building skills while experiencing something new each session.
CURRENT & ROTATING 6-WEEK THEMES
Examples of current and upcoming themes include:
Art Inspired by the Masters
Students explore famous artists and movements, learning techniques and styles while creating original works inspired by art history.
Under the Sea
A playful, imaginative series inspired by ocean life, movement, and color — incorporating drawing, painting, and mixed media.
Cultural Art Explorations
Students learn about artistic traditions from around the world and create pieces inspired by global art forms. (Offered as one of our rotating units.)
Additional themes are added throughout the year, ensuring every session feels fresh and engaging.
