Start by telling us a little about what you're planning. Once we understand your event, project, goals and vision, we'll help guide you toward the experience or offering that makes the most sense.
As early as you can! Availability varies throughout the year and some projects require more planning and preparation than others. That said, if you timeline is short, reach out anyway. If we can make it happen, we will!
Yes! We love to travel. While Erin Leigh Studios is based in Massachusetts, our artists are located throughout Southern New England and we are happy to travel throughout the U.S. and internationally for select events, experiences, workshops and projects. Travel requirements and associated costs are determined based on the location and scope of each project.
Because our work ranges from intimate creative gatherings to large-scale multi-day activations, pricing varies based on the experience, number of guests, artists and team members needed, materials, customization, location and overall scope. Once we know what you're creating, we'll provide clear pricing for your project.

Our existing experiences re a starting point, not necessarily the limit. If you have an unusual space, audience, material, theme or creative challenge in mind, please share it with us!
Our live experiences are designed to give guests more than something to watch. They invite guests into the creative process.
Experiences can include live guest portraiture, hand-painted keepsakes and personalization, collaborative artwork, live painting, performance art, and custom creative activations designed specifically for an event or brand.
YES !!! We can thoughtfully tailor elements such as artwork, color palettes, materials, personalization options, imagery, presentation, and the overall guest experience to compliment your event or brand.
Yes, depending on the project and material. We'll want to review the item in advance and may need to test the surface to make sure our process will produce the quality we expect.
That depends on the experience.
We build the artist team, support team, workflow, and creative format around your expected attendance and event schedule. For larger events and multi-day activations, we can scale the experience accordingly.
Timing depends on the experience and the number of guests. Many personalized keepsakes are completed and given to guests during the event. Guest portraits may also be completed on site for smaller gatherings, while portraits from larger events are typically finished in the studio afterward and delivered to the client.
We'll establish the timing, guest flow, and delivery plan with you before the event.
Yes. If you're looking for something beyond one of our established experiences, we can develop a creative concept around your audience, event, brand, venue or objective.
We create artist-led experiences for companies, organizations, universities, arts organizations, private groups and communities. If you have a group of people, both public or private, we can build a creative experience for you!
Depending on the experience, the emphasis might be connection, collaboration, creativity, celebration, team building or simply making something together.
Not at all! Our experiences are designed to be welcoming to people with a wide range of creative experience, from experienced artists to people who haven't picked up a paintbrush or colored pencils in years.
For most workshops and creative experiences, yes. Materials and setup requirements are determined as part of the project planning so your group knows exactly what to expect.
Yes. We can adapt or develop programming around your group, setting, audience, goals and available time. We currently offer 45 minute to three hours sessions and multi-day creative retreats. We are happy to customize programming for your needs!
Yes. Group size is one of the things we consider when designing the experience. Larger groups may require additional artist, facilitators, materials or a modified format so the experience still feels thoughtful and engaging.
Yes. Erin Leigh Studios accepts select commissioned artwork and special projects created by Erin or one of our studio artists.
Each commission begins with a conversation about the subject, intended space or recipient, size, medium, timeline, and overall vision. We'll help determine the right approach and artist for the project.
Yes. Commissioned artwork can be created for private collectors as well as organizations, commemorations, donor gifts, milestone moments and other special projects.
We'll begin by discussing what you'd like created and gathering any necessary reference materials. From there, we'll determine the appropriate size, medium, scope, timeline and pricing before the project begins.
Timing depends on the artwork and our current studio schedule. Your anticipated completion timeline will be discussed before your commission is booked.
No. Purchasing an original artwork does not automatically transfer copyright or commercial reproduction rights.
If you would like to reproduce an artwork for printed materials, products, marketing, or another purpose, let us know. Licensing can be discussed as part of the project.
Calming the Chaos is an artist-led creative experience centered around slowing down, exploring, and reconnecting with the act of making.
Rather than focusing on creating a perfect finished piece, participants are guided through approachable creative exercises that encourage curiosity, experimentation, reflection, and a little more room to breathe.
No. Calming the Chaos is intentionally designed for both artists and people who don't consider themselves creative. There is no expectation that you already know how to draw or paint.
Not exactly. You'll absolutely make art and explore creative materials, but the experience isn't centered around everyone following the same steps to produce the same finished painting. The emphasis is on exploration, process, and discovering what happens when we loosen our grip on the outcome.
No. Calming the Chaos is a creative and educational experience. It is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or mental-health care.
Yes. Calming the Chaos can be offered as a workplace or organizational experience and adapted to the needs, setting, and size of your group.
Yes. Materials are typically incorporated into the experience so participants can simply arrive and create.
Yes. In addition to private group and organizational experiences, public opportunities to experience Calming the Chaos are offered periodically. Check the current offerings for upcoming opportunities.
